A&S | Maxwell Virtual Sample Class - Game Theory: Outsmarting the Crowd

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM until 8:00 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

Join Professor Kristy Buzard for a game-based class discussion. You’ll participate in a battle of logic and strategy that connects game theory, behavioral economics, and individual decision-making. You’ll learn how real-world choices—from stock markets to social trends—depend not just on individual preferences but on predicting others’ actions. Can you guess how others will think… and how they think you will think? Register for this sample class to find out! This class will be a fun example of what courses here at Syracuse are like. We hope you’ll enjoy meeting Professor Buzard, who teaches in the Economics Department in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
